A pro bono panel set up to provide advice and representation for families and seriously injured people following last month's attack on the Manchester Arena is expected to grow, reaching those affected by an attack in London on Saturday night.
The day after the Manchester bombing, Manchester Law Society began coordinating a 'pro bono advice rota', looking for firms willing to help with Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims and inquests. The society's plea attracted more than 100 responses from solicitors' firms, law students and barristers.
The panel is now expected to grow following an attack in London Bridge on Saturday, in which seven people died and dozens were injured. Yesterday, the society retweeted a statement on Twitter that the rota will be expanded to those affected by the London attack, with more details to follow.
