The chief executive of the University of Law has left his post just five months after taking up the position.

Dr Stelios Platis, an economist by background, will take on a new role developing ‘international operations’ related to ULaw’s parent company Global University Systems (GUS) group, the university said today.

Platis has been replaced by Professor Andrea Nollent (pictured), who was formerly vice-chancellor.

She will be the university’s third chief executive since the company was bought by GUS last year.

A spokesperson for ULaw said: ‘Following the successful restructuring of the university executive, the board of the GUS group has asked Dr Stelios Platis to undertake a new assignment specifically focused on the strategic development of GUS international operations.’
